Flower & Coffee Fair

The Boquete Flower & Coffee Fair is one of Panama's most charming cultural events, held every January in the cool climate of Chiriquí's highlands. This fair transforms the small mountain town of Boquete into a paradise of color and aroma, with spectacular displays of orchids, roses, hydrangeas, and other tropical flowers cultivated in the fertile cloud forest. Visitors can taste the world-famous Boquete Geisha coffee, considered one of the most exclusive and expensive in the world, directly at local coffee farms. Artisans from the indigenous Ngäbe-Buglé communities display their colorful beadwork and traditional crafts. With folk music concerts, garden competitions, and the stunning backdrop of Volcán Barú, the fair offers an authentic experience of rural Panamanian culture.
